‘Origin’ features a talented crop of producers at their most soulful and in-fitting with the compilation’s theme, creating a tranquil mood across 16 compositions.
The lush harmonics, beautifully constructed atmospheres and fluid rhythms embellish the deeply meditative, almost therapeutic bassline pressure each track is built around, and represents the richly enveloping qualities of dubstep at its most creative.
“We believe no child should be part of war. Ever. Children have the right to grow up in peace, free from fear and violence. To develop their full potential and become the person they want to be.”
War Child is a small international charity that protects children from the effects of war by providing psychosocial support and education. They are on the ground in Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq and Uganda providing an opportunity for children to begin recovering from the experience of their displacement.
All the music has been kindly donated by the artists involved and Deeper Vibrations have paid for the mastering and all associated costs. All proceeds go to War Child.
